Will turned nine on the 28th of January. He had a sleepover party with some friends from school. They stayed up way too late, watched movies and had an ice-cream cake. Great fun was had by all. (Actually... great fun was had by everyone except the boy who got homesick and went home at 11 o'clock.)Kate turned seven on January 30th. She celebrated with some friends from church 
and school. Her party provided quite a challenge as the power was out for most of the day. It is rather diffcult to cook a pizza lunch for 7 if you have no electricity. She had a great time anyway and the power came on for long enough in the middle of the afternoon for her and her friends to watch a movie.
