trips to the school before then to meet with people, to get paperwork completed, to be picked up for rides to different places, etc. The school is located at a good location in terms of bussing, a little south of downtown. The main building is shown in the picture: the downstairs is K to Grade 6, the upstairs is Grades 7 to 12. The school looks pretty peaceful in the picture, but only because the students hadn't arrived yet. Things are a lot more chaotic now!The first day of school was on August 20th (mostly a fun, kick-off
kind of day) and then classes started on the 21st. I'm teaching 3 computer courses and 2 math courses; Karla's teaching 2 math course and a "Life Skills" course and then busses to the babysitter's to pick up Thomas. I go home with Will and Kate at the end of the day. The kids are enjoying their classes and making friends -- Kate has already been to a birthday party and Will went to a friend's for a sleepover!
